World Weather Magnet
The weather magnet image, on the left -- is a replica of a custom interface developed for the QiSoftware promotional site -- WiredPages.

The actual magnet is powered by a server side J2EE interface [servlet] -- that reads an XML feed provided by Weather.com. The servlet parses and redistributes the information to users via a client side interface [a browser] hosting the Java Applet. The applet acts as the interface between the user and the server side program -- which bypasses timely page refreshings.

This tool provides on-the-fly weather information for any city in the world. Its uses are immeasurable.
